Development of an Algorithm for Constructing Complex Fractal Images Using the L-Systems Method for Textile and Building Materials Production Enterprises

This article covers some elements of the theory of fractals, methods, and algorithms for constructing fractals. The analysis of studies on the L-systems among the fractals construction methods, algorithms for constructing some fractal images, and the obtained results are presented below. Using the L-systems method, a geometric model for creating new complex fractal images using geometric substitutions from dragon-shaped, tree-shaped, and spiral fractals was built. And the results were obtained using the developed software. In this article, the software tool developed on the basis of the L-systems method, the algorithm for creating complex fractal structures using geometric substitutions can be effectively used in the textile industry, in the design of building materials, and in the technologies of printing patterns on gas and carpets. The use of the developed algorithm and software tool helps to create a wide range of pattern types in a short period of time in textile and building materials development enterprises, reduces costs and increases the production volume and demand for the product.
