Multi-scale PDE Inverse Problem in Bacterial Movement
摘要
By their nature, biological systems evolve to complex structures, posing challenges for mathematical modelling that involve partial differential equations (PDEs). Experimental data is used to bridge the gap between simplified models and real world applications. The models as well as the associated inverse problems exhibit a multi-scale structure. In this article, we summarize recent studies on the multi-scale behaviour of PDE inverse problems for models of bacterial movement.
