Von Neumann Stability Analysis of Upwind Numerical Scheme Applied to Level Set Equation with Small Curvature Term

We propose a novel semi-implicit numerical scheme that allows one to efficiently solve the advection equation in level set methods with a small curvature term. In the following, we find a strict stability condition for the scheme using von Neumann stability analysis and support the result on various numerical experiments.
