A Discrete Velocity Numerical Scheme for the 2D Bitemperature Euler System
摘要
This paper is devoted to the numerical approximation of the bidimensional bitemperature Euler system. This model is a nonconservative hyperbolic system describing an out of equilibrium plasma in a quasi-neutral regime, with applications in Inertial Confinment Fusion (ICF). We present a second order numerical scheme based on a discrete BGK relaxation model and we compare the results with the ones obtained by using a conservative model in the case of the triple point problem.
