Clinical Applications of Digital Workflow in Dental Implantology

This chapter will look at the application of 3D technology and digital workflow (DWF) in the provision of implant dentistry. Various components of the DWF will be discussed, including intraoral scanning, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), computer-aided-design/computer-aided-manufacturing (CAD/CAM) processes, milling, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, guided implant surgery, custom-made bone regeneration technique and custom-made implants.
