Cost and Return on Investment (ROI)

This chapter covers the possible pay back or return on investment (ROI) of treatment versus paying hearing loss compensation or potential harm to the environment. Cost in the sense used here usually addresses impacts on space and weight in addition to the material and installation costs. Benefits with respect to hearing loss compensation are based solely on available US Navy and Veterans Administration data. This text does not consider cost with respect to impact on ocean life.
