As part of a self-regulating industry, coaches can provide consistent value to their clients by actively engaging in CPD activities to ensure that their skills are still active, current, relevant, and of a high standard. Such professional development can come in many different forms and is covered in more detail in Chap. 28 . This chapter focuses on a specific form of professional development: mentor coaching.
