Introduction to Green-Function Methods

It is not possible, in general, to find the wavefunction, \(\Psi (\textbf{x}_1, \textbf{x}_2,...\textbf{x}_N)\) of a system of \(N \approx 10^{23} \) particles by solving straightforwardly the Schrödinger equation.
