Application of Path Integral Methods: The Renormalization Group Approach
摘要
The renormalization group (RG) method is a powerful and efficient tool to explore interacting fermions. Initially it was developed in the context of QFT to cure infinities arising in QED. Wilson and Kogut (1974), Wilson (1975), based on Kadanoff et al. (1967) approach to analyze critical exponents and critical phenomena in classical statistical mechanics, developed a scheme to tackle with systems in which fluctuations at all energy scales can occur.
