Runtime System Structure with Support of Resilience

This chapter is some kind of summary of Chaps. 6 , 7 in terms of implementation of principles described there at the level of the runtime system. Here, we briefly analyze what type of runtime systems for embedded and reliable application exist. We further reanalyze and summarize new functions and features of runtime system that simply must be implemented during the design of fault tolerant and resilient systems. An example of implementation of runtime system for safety critical ultra-resilient satellite system was presented in detail to illustrate how proposed concepts were implemented.
