Congenital and Developmental Brain Malformations
摘要
Congenital brain malformations are associated with major neurodevelopmental morbidity and represent a common reason for obtaining neuroimaging in a child. In this chapter, supratentorial brain malformations are considered including holoprosencephaly, commissural anomalies, and malformations of cortical development. Common hindbrain malformations, congenital cysts, and cephaloceles are also reviewed. Finally, congenital anomalies and neoplasms seen in several common neurocutaneous syndromes are described.
