摘要

The head and neck is a complex anatomic area affected by various pathologies that include developmental lesions, infections, inflammatory processes, neoplastic lesions, and trauma. A foundational understanding of the complex anatomic relationships is essential to radiologic practice. The goal of this chapter is to serve as an introduction to trainees to the radiologic anatomy of the orbit, sinonasal compartment, and mucosal surfaces of the head and neck. The skull base that constitutes an important area of head and neck radiology is not covered in this chapter.
