Sociology of Knowledge: Summary and Perspective

This chapter summarizes the various stages of the sociology of knowledge and shows the points of contact at which a discourse-oriented perspective can capture and elaborate the considerations about the social and communicative construction of knowledge. At the same time, this allows us to evaluate the relationship between SK and “knowledge society” for the purposes of advancing SKAD’s research program.
