A Preliminary Summary: Perspectives of Discourse Research (So Far)

This chapter summarizes the discussions from Chaps. 7 – 9 and addresses questions about the relationships between the approaches, their agreements and incompatibilities with regard to the concept of discourse, and their contribution to solving the problems addressed by the Foucaultian approach. In conclusion, it gives an overall assessment of these perspectives for the programme of SKAD.
