The chapter introduces basic ideas and arguments for a sociology of knowledge based approach to discourse analysis. It outlines the addressed research agenda for inquiry into relations of knowledge and knowing, and politics of knowledge and knowing. In conclusion, it gives a short presentation of the book’s chapters.
