This fictional portrayal asks the question: how might we create a contemporary myth to help communicate the detrimental pathologies of contemporary society? The author employs a Trickster character to query some great minds of the past in an attempt to diagnose our malaise while establishing a new mythic encounter with which to situate ourselves in our time.
