When Papa passed away in March 2016, my mother continued to teach as a kindergarten teacher. In the afternoons, she would learn the intricacies of Facebook. Maa had bought a smartphone only the previous year; Papa would be irritated with the string of pings her phone would make as soon as she would reach home when her phone would connect to the WiFi; I had installed it at home for my work. Now Papa gone and new things to learn, Maa began to make new friends online.
