Alternative Medicine
摘要
This chapter explains what alternative medicine is and which diverse modalities it comprises. It describes its current popularity and discusses the confusing terminology that is in current use. Although the modalities (treatments as well as diagnostic methods) are diverse, several features that most of them have in common are briefly discussed and critically evaluated.
