A Call to Action

In the previous chapters of this book, we have gone a long way, starting with the wonders of science, recognizing its limitations, exploring the outdatedness of the deterministic worldview, appreciating the spiritual dimension, elaborating the relationship between science and religion and finally created a new holistic view of the world. While the construct described above at this point in time cannot be proven to be correct, it provides a reasonable worldview along which one can make sense of the chaos surrounding us. And this is important because one can only get ones goals right and one can only find the strength and unwavering commitment to proceed if the underlying religious, philosophic, and scientific basis is sound. And although it is clear that we will never be able to really see the complete clear picture, as we can never hope to understand the mind of the omnipotent creator, maybe we do not even need it; we already now have everything we need to guide us what to do and how to lead a righteous and good life.
