Male Sexual Dysfunctions in the Infertile Couple

Infertility affects millions of people around the world, having a negative impact on patients, their families and their communities. It affects around 15% of couples, with a contributing male factor in about 50% of cases. Male infertility and sexual dysfunctions have a bidirectional association. Sexual dysfunctions can happen at any stage of the sexual response cycle, often conditioned by psychopathological burden that an infertility diagnosis carries. In this chapter, we summarize the different male sexual dysfunctions that can be seen in the infertile couple, focusing on its diagnosis and management.
