Sexual Health and Chronic Dermatosis

The skin is an organ deeply involved in the functions of contact and relationship. There are numerous skin pathologies that can affect in one way or the other way the sexual function of the patients who suffer from them, either by affecting the social-emotional sphere or by the presence of muco-cutaneous physical changes that can directly compromise some sexual practices. In this chapter, we review those chronic skin pathologies, with a significant prevalence in the general population, which we know have a greater impact on the sexual function of the patients who suffer from them.
