Study of Mechanical Properties of Shipbuilding Pipe Steels for Cooling Systems of Long-Term Operation in a Wide Range of Sub-zero Temperatures

Comprehensive studies have shown that with the increase in the service life of both pipelines for transporting the cooling medium and pipes of cooling systems, metal is enriched with hydrogen with an increase in the structure of non-metallic inclusions, which leads to its embrittlement and weakening, resulting in a decrease in the parameters of crack resistance, which indicates a reduction in the resistance of the metal to the formation of cracks leading to structural damage.
