Genesis of Cardiac Voltage Changes

This chapter covers the genesis of intracellular negative “resting” polarity and the “gated” channels affording periodic loss of this polarity. Depolarization and repolarization patterns (“action potentials”) in various types of cardiac cells are discussed. The intracardiac specialized conduction pathways are outlined.
