Decolonizing the North

This chapter looks at the vision of Boaventura de Sousa Santos. This includes his support for Indigenous peoples of Americas and attempts to show what an education could be like that is able to bridge North and South—traversing the epistemological abyss. The concept of corazonar is discussed, and issues of deep listening are explored. Postabyssal pedagogy is developed.
