More Than Metric: Geometric Objects for Alternative Pictures of Gravity

In the previous discussions, we presented General Relativity as a theory essentially based on metric as the main object capable of being related to physical observables. Thanks to the Equivalence Principle, the Einstein formulation is a “metric theory of gravity” where causal structure (related to metric and light cones) and geodesic structure (related to geodesics and motions along them) coincide.
