摘要

Technology Readiness is the approach for checking people’s responsiveness or attitude towards the use of new technologies, therefore it is imperative to measure people’s readiness towards technology before they can accept or adopt the new technologies and even see their intention to use technology. There have been so many models that are in literature therefore it is imperative to look at the models so that we see the way forward. This paper adopts a systematic approach to Technology Readiness model research using Google scholar, IEEE, Springer, and Sage as sources. A total of 100 articles were initially found to match the criteria which were filtered to 21 articles from 2017 to 2021 by applying exclusion criteria. When measuring Technology Readiness it is found that the most commonly used variables that are still used even now in 2021 are Optimism, Innovation, Discomfort, and Insecurity. Future researchers can extend the review to different industries as this review was limited to business and educational industries/sectors.
