Remote Monitoring of Patient Health Indicators Using Cloud Technologies
摘要
In this paper we consider an approach to remote monitoring of patient health indicators using cloud technologies. This approach is based on integrated using wearable devices and other IoT components, cloud systems and applications for health analytics and visualization. This, in turn, implies development of data acquisition, storage, processing and analytics techniques. For that purpose, the corresponding data models were created and described. They allow storing data and controlling the measurement process of health indicators, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, etc. The proposed approach allows integrating different software and hardware components into the system and implementing various scenarios for smart medical wards as well as for intelligent health monitoring systems for outpatients. Further work consists in modeling and implementing particular scenarios of patient health monitoring, including disease diagnosing and stratification, geozone and health indicator control tools, alarm systems, and assessing the effectiveness of automation of such scenarios.
