Geophysical Aspects of Ocean Floor Evolution
摘要
In the 1889 paper by O. Fisher “Physics of the Earth's Crust”, perhaps for the first time in the development of the concept of mobilism (i.e., horizontal movements of large blocks of the Earth's crust), the necessity of simultaneous existence of compression and extension structures on the Earth was shown.
