The Rebuilders
摘要
In this chapter, we meet the students that I call the rebuilders––those who, in many ways, helped shape and rebuild in their activist journeys. A key moment began during the January break of 1965, where a group of six Queens College students including Robert (Bob) Masters, Jonathan Alexander, Arthur Gatti, Walter Jarsky, Robert Madden, and Gus Peros went to Tougaloo, Mississippi, to repair churches that had been burned down during Freedom Summer.
