Study on Optimizing the Operating Configuration of Bihor Power System- 110 kV

摘要

The objective of this work is to obtain the optimal operating configuration for Bihor Power System (BPS)−110 kV by modelling and numerical simulation with Paladin Design Base program (PDB).The first part presents the methods for determining the circulation of powers in the BPS and the facilities of the PDB program in order to operationalise the methods. In the second part, starting from the real structure of the system, the equivalent single-wire scheme was built, highlighting the values of the characteristic parameters of the components, as well as the values of the active and reactive powers produced/entered into the system, those exited from the system and the consumption of active and reactive power on the medium voltage bars of the transformers in the power stations for a characteristic winter day. In the third part, several variants of operation of the analysed system were simulated, after which a comparison was made between them in terms of active and reactive power losses. Applying the criteria of “minimum power losses” identifies the optimal operating variants of BPS and evaluates the performance indicators of the system in the respective states. The last part presents the conclusions of the analysis carried out.
