Technical Losses Estimation in Low Voltage Distribution Network Using Deterministic Methods
摘要
Electricity losses have been a focus of attention for Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and regulatory entities. In this paper, a deterministic methodology for estimating technical losses in LV electricity distribution networks (EDN) is proposed. Technical losses are produced by the current flow through the conductors, and so it depends on the load demand, power injections and EDN topology (radial or weakly meshed), the feeders physical characteristics (conductors’ material, cross section). The main contribution are the determinist methods which can estimate technical losses with limited network details. Technical losses are the dependent variable, and any data that can be used to characterize an LV distribution network represents the independent variable. Regarding the proposed scenarios, different combinations of independent factors are assessed. The usefulness of statistical correlation, accessibility, and necessity of independent variables are examined.
