Research on the Assessment of the Operational Reliability of Bihor Power System 110 kV

The paper is structured in three parts. The introduction presents the evaluation methodology for assessing the operational reliability, the estimation of operational reliability indicators, statistical processing methods for the identification of parameters and distribution laws that model the series of operational data range. The second part contains the research conducted regarding the operational reliability of the Bihor Power System (BPS), namely the volume of installations within the BPS and the database created for reliability-centred maintenance. The establishment of the database has the advantage of providing statistics on the volume of installations, to the events recorded in BPS, highlighting the conditions and influencing factors. This allows the calculation of the main operational reliability indicators of the 110 kV Bihor network, as well as the application of the maintenance strategy focused on reliability at the level of the analysed system. In the last part of the paper, the results obtained from the processing of the statistical data are presented with the recommendation to review the equipment stock assurance process within the BPS.
