Influence of Information and Communication Technologies of Knowledge Economy Development

It was carried out the analysis of trends in the development of the concept of the “knowledge economy” in the socio-economic sphere of Ukraine. It was determined of according to the results of the study of the main fundamental blocks, the industrial type of the economy of Ukraine. A conclusion is made regarding the trend of rapid development of information and telecommunication technologies in Ukraine. It was revealed a significant correlative influence of the development of information and communication technologies on the creation of added value in the structure of Ukraine’s GDP revealed. The conducted calculations showed the presence of an average correlation between GDP and investments in the spheres of activity that stimulate the development of the “knowledge economy” in Ukraine. This indicates that investments in Ukrainian education, professional, scientific and technical activities, in scientific research, have a minor impact on growth indicators and the structure of GDP. It was concluded that stimulating the development of these areas will contribute to the further growth of the country’s GDP and the share of those industries that form the “knowledge economy”. According to the other three blocks of the knowledge economy (economic regime, innovative ecosystem, education), the Ukrainian economy has an average result. It has been determined the transition of the Ukrainian economy from an industrial to an information type of economic and technological structure.
