  • Adriana Milea

摘要

The transition to the economy 4.0 involves a series of major changes in the economy and society in general. The digital economy refers to a new stage in the development of the economy, characterized by increasing productivity and efficiency through automation and digitization, reducing costs and increasing profitability. However, the economy 4.0 can also have a significant impact on the workers and jobs by changing the way work is organized, the content of work and by requiring workers to acquire a completely different set of competences (new knowledge, skills) for their adaptation to new changes. That is why it is very important to develop appropriate policies for training and retraining the workforce (continuous personal and professional development of workers throughout their life, to increase their level of skills), to be able to adapt to new conditions and changes that will occur in the workplace, so that they have the ability to adapt to this new stage of economic development. The purpose of this study is to identify the trends, emerging risks and the potential impact of digitization on the safety and health of workers - opportunities and challenges that digitization of work entails.
