摘要

Internal logistics is a fundamental part of the supply chain and plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of an organization, ensuring that the right resources are in the right place, at the right time and in the right quantity. The project was developed in a Portugal organization and operated in internal logistics processes, and its main objective was to improve the efficiency of processes related to internal logistics, focusing on the supermarket supply process and the internal flow of components. To achieve this objective, the PDCA Cycle methodology was used in order to plan, implement, monitor and standardize each improvement. As a result of the project’s development, it was possible to improve the supply process, resulting in a reduction in the number of production stops, and to control the internal flow on the factory floor, by defining circulation directions, guaranteeing fluidity and safety for those involved. It was also possible to act on the occupation rates of the supermarket suppliers, which resulted in a readjustment of tasks and the reduction of one operator in each shift.
