Reuse of Construction Waste

The reuse of construction waste is an important aspect of sustainable construction practices. The theme approached in the paper aims to find alternative uses for construction waste, which reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, conserve natural resources and minimize the impact of construction activities on the environment. Any construction, be it new, demolished or rebuilt, also implies the existence/occurrence of waste. Renovation/modification works often generate more waste than the amount resulting from the construction of a new building. It is therefore necessary and useful to address the circularity and sustainability of materials used in construction. The efficient use of construction waste is a sustainable and responsible approach in the construction industry, with significant environmental and economic benefits. It promotes the conservation of natural resources and environmental protection, contributing to the development of a more sustainable society.
