摘要

This paper presents a functional knee orthosis with 4 range of motion (RoM), designed and 3D printed from PLA material. The brace is designed to provide optimal support for the affected knee and improve its function during daily activities. It is designed to be light and comfortable so that the user can wear the orthosis throughout the day. The orthosis has four range of motion, which allow the user to adjust the level of support according to their specific needs. This can be adjusted to provide stronger support for a weak knee or to allow a full range of motion for a healthy knee. The materials used in the construction of the orthosis are durable and resistant, which ensures long-term use. The PLA material used for 3D printing is an excellent choice because it is lightweight and durable, and is also biodegradable. In conclusion, the functional knee orthosis presented in this paper is an effective solution to improve knee function during daily activities. The use of PLA material in the 3D printing process makes this orthosis durable and easy to use while being an environmentally friendly option.
