摘要

Sensitivity analysisSensitivity analysis is a crucial quantitative tool in engineering economics for assessing the impact of variable changes on project feasibility and outcomes. Traditional sensitivity analysis, however, relies on precise numerical data, often inadequate for real-world scenarios characterized by uncertainty and imprecision. Fuzzy Sensitivity AnalysisFuzzy sensitivity analysis (FSA) emerges as a powerful extension to traditional methods, leveraging fuzzy logic principles to handle vague and uncertain input data effectively. In FSA, input variables are represented as fuzzy sets, allowing for the inclusion of imprecise ranges and degrees of membership. This approach extends sensitivity analysis by systematically varying fuzzy input variables within their fuzzy sets to observe their impact on economic evaluations. This chapter explores FSA as an innovative approach to addressing the limitations of traditional sensitivity analysisSensitivity analysis in engineering economics. It examines its principles, methodologies, and applications, emphasizing its significance in managing real-world projects with incomplete or uncertain data.
