Fuzzy Benefit/Cost Analysis

Benefit/Cost AnalysisBenefit/cost analysis (BCA) isFuzzy benefit/cost analysis the most used analysis in the comparison of investment alternatives after present worth analysis, annual worth analysis, and rate of return analysis. The analysis tries to calculate whether the benefits exceed the costs using a ratio. In this chapter, classical BCA will be extended using fuzzy set extensions: interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy setsInterval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set and spherical fuzzy setsSpherical fuzzy set. These fuzzy BCA techniques are explained with numerical examples that successfully demonstrate the effects of different extensions on the same investment data.
