Families Are Changing: Life Course Trajectories of 1.5-Generation Polish Teenagers in Ireland

It is argued that transnational migration creates changes within the structure of the family impacting on family dynamics and family life course trajectories. In this context, via a qualitative longitudinal sociological enquiry this chapter explores the life course trajectories of Polish young adults who were born in Poland and ‘arrived’ in Ireland as teenagers as part of family reunification.
