Features Distribution of Platinoids in Oil and Gas Fields of the Orenburg Region

The purpose of present research is to study the features of the distribution of platinum and palladium in association with gold and silver in the Orenburg part of the Volga-Ural oil and gas province. Oil samples were taken and analyzed from carbonate and terrigenous collectors of fields of different structural-tectonic elements of the first order. To identify features distribution of noble metals, schemes of isoconcentrates of ones are constructed, the analysis of which makes it possible to establish that the distribution of platinoids in oil fields of the platform Orenburg region obeys different-scale spatial patterns of their localization in the structures of the platform cover—structural-tectonic zones and oil and gas geological areas. Two zones have been identified, sharply differing in the concentration of platinum in oils. The results obtained indicate the influence of geological and structural elements on the spatial distribution of platinoids in oils and may be used for predictive estimate of the territory on the presence for noble metals under the performance of geological-structural worcks, metallogenic studies and for stratigraphic correlation of oil-saturated beds.
