Development of the Concept of a Modern Approach to Well Construction

The primary objectives of this research involve examining the principles and techniques of employing both retrospective and real-time analyses in the construction of oil and gas wells. Furthermore, considerable time invested by engineering teams in formulating a drilling plan for the drilling crew could be optimized through partial or complete automation. A data-centric approach to automated drilling scheduling for wells sharing similar design and geological characteristics is proposed, aiming to enhance the categorization of operations based on the IADC drilling classification.
