Experimental Studies of Submerged Jets of Various Liquids

The article is devoted to the study of the characteristics of a submerged jet under various conditions. An extensive review is provided on the classification of jets, on methods for studying the characteristics of jets, general approaches to the experimental and numerical study of jets of positive buoyancy are described, and examples of experimental studies of various jet flows and methods for their visualization are given.
