Studying the Features of Measuring Rock Deformations During Tests at the High Pressure High Temperature Triaxial Apparatus

摘要

This paper presents the results of a series of experiments on studying the effect of the sealing membrane type and the mounting technique of LVDT sensors on the accuracy of cylindrical specimen deformation measurement during tests at the high pressure high temperature (HPHT) triaxial apparatus GT1.3.9. The paper presents the stress–strain curves of the testing specimen obtained within the framework of triaxial tests with sealing membranes made of different materials. The most optimal type of sealing membrane and mounting techniques of LVDT sensors are determined. A method of determining the membrane deformation when measuring the circumferential deformation of the specimen during the tests on the HPHT triaxial apparatus GT1.3.9 is proposed.
