Changes in the Composition and Properties of Basaltic Andesites Under Sulfuric Acid Leaching Conditions
摘要
The paper examines the main patterns of composition changes and properties of basaltic andesites under conditions of sulfuric acid leaching on the example of samples of the South Kambalny Central Thermal Field both in natural conditions and as a result of laboratory experiments, during which the samples were exposed to a concentrated solution of sulfuric acid. It was found that the general tendencies of property changes coincide for natural and laboratory modified samples - there was a decrease in strength and deformation characteristics, as well as a decrease in mass, magnetic susceptibility, and density. A number of correlation dependences of changes in properties on the time of laboratory treatment of rocks, reaction temperature and the amount of reacted acid were established.
