Thermoacoustic Technology for High-Viscous Oil Production

The work is devoted to one of the most pressing problems of the oil and gas complex—oil production in the fields with hard-to-recover reserves. A thermoacoustic well complex and a combined technology for stimulating the production of high-viscosity and heavy oil have been developed. Pilot tests of the complex and combined technology have been carried out at the fields of the Samara region, which prove their high efficiency. The developed technology and complex will significantly intensify the production of heavy and high-viscosity oil, reduce capital and operating costs, thereby reducing the cost of the oil produced.
