Investigation of Spontaneous Movement of Ice Cover in Natural Reservoirs

The purpose of this work is an experimental study of the formation of vortex streams due to melting and rotation of ice markers, their influence on the transfer of temperature and substances in the environment. This problem is relevant due to the priority of research in the field of Arctic and Antarctic exploration. In addition, a better understanding of the mechanism of formation of convective currents arising in the process of ice melting may be in demand when ensuring the extraction of minerals on the continental shelf.
