Experience of Ultrasonic Technology Application in the Samotlor Field Wells (Western Syberia)

摘要

Presents the results of the pilot-field tests of the ultrasonic technology and equipment, carried out at 68 oil wells of the Samotlor field. The paper analyzes the mechanisms of acoustic impact on the bottom hole formation zone, which is caused by the complexity and diversity of the processes in it as well as shows that the acoustic impact is complex. The analysis of the PFT results of wells with the peculiarities of the geological-physical characteristics of the treated formations was carried out, which allowed to formulate an algorithm of wells-candidate selection for ultrasonic treatment. Proved the high efficiency of the application of the ultrasonic cleaning technology of the bottom hole formation zone, which supplements the existing methods of oil production and can be offered by oil service companies as one of the promising methods for oil production enhancement.
