Conclusion

The final chapter will summarise the research results and, commenting on its findings, will draw conclusions from the research project concerning the proposed didactic model for optimal translation practice in English language teaching (OTP in ELT) and its possible role in teacher education. The final chapter will conclude with further questions and topics related to the broad issue of translation and own-language use in language teaching and learning contexts that might be the subject matter of future research projects, including other contexts.
