Hand
摘要
This chapter highlights essential hand-related orthopaedic cases commonly encountered in ‘Hand & Paediatrics’ station of the orthopaedic board and FRCS viva examination. It comprises a series of practice questions that encompass a wide range of hand-related orthopaedic topics, blending both trauma and elective conditions. For trauma, the chapter includes discussions on scaphoid fractures, nail-bed injuries, perilunate dislocations, and fight bite injuries. In the elective category, it covers Dupuytren’s disease, ganglion cysts, Kienböck’s disease, and carpal tunnel syndrome, alongside an overview of some hand deformities. This chapter is designed as a quick-reference guide, providing candidates with a concise yet comprehensive review of essential hand topics for their viva examinations.
